Terms of Use

1. What EzraHome Connect is

EzraHome Connect is an online service that gives users the technical means to publish a profile or a request, find each other, and get in touch. The role of EzraHome is limited to providing and maintaining this platform.

• we provide search, profile, request, chat, and notification tools;
• we do not provide or offer cleaning, care, nanny, caregiver, repair, or any other household services;
• we are not a job placement agency, a staffing agency, an employer, or a representative of any party;
• we do not take part in negotiations or in agreeing on price, scope, or schedule of work;
• we do not control or direct the actions of specialists and clients.

2. Relationship between users

Any service agreement is concluded directly between the client and the specialist. EzraHome is not a party to such an agreement, does not act as a surety, guarantor, or payment intermediary, and assumes no obligations of either party.

All terms — scope, price, schedule, payment procedure, cancellation, and liability — are agreed by the parties themselves and at their own risk.

3. No employment relationship

Specialists use the platform as independent contractors. No employment, agency, partnership, or franchise relationship arises between EzraHome and a specialist or a client. EzraHome does not pay for services, does not withhold taxes or social contributions, and is not responsible for how users formalise their relationship, including labour and immigration law requirements.

4. User verification

We may apply basic technical checks (such as phone or email confirmation) and profile moderation, but we do not perform full verification of identity, qualifications, licences, work permits, insurance, criminal records, or references, and we do not guarantee the accuracy of such information.

Vetting the other party, requesting documents, licences, and insurance, and deciding whether to start working together are entirely the user's responsibility.

5. User content

Profiles, service descriptions, photos, reviews, requests, and messages are created by users themselves. EzraHome does not verify their accuracy, does not endorse their content, and is not liable for material posted by users. Users warrant that they hold the rights to the content they publish and that it does not infringe third-party rights or the law.

6. Payments

Payment for services is made directly between the client and the specialist outside the platform, unless expressly stated otherwise. EzraHome does not hold user funds, does not act as a payment agent, and is not responsible for payment, late payment, refunds, or the parties' tax obligations. Any fee charged by EzraHome, where applicable, relates solely to access to platform features.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, quality, safety, accuracy of data, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

• we do not guarantee that you will find a specialist or a client;
• we do not guarantee the quality, timing, safety, or outcome of services provided;
• we do not guarantee the good faith, honesty, or legal capacity of users;
• we do not guarantee that the platform will operate without interruptions, failures, or data loss.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EzraHome, its owners, directors, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damage, including property damage, personal injury, theft, lost profit, data loss, and reputational harm, arising from:

• the acts or omissions of any platform user;
• services rendered or not rendered by a specialist;
• the content of profiles, requests, reviews, and messages;
• arrangements, payments, and disputes between users;
• inability to use the platform, failures, errors, or unauthorised third-party access.

Where a limitation of liability is not permitted by law, EzraHome's aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you actually paid to EzraHome over the preceding 12 months, or ILS 100 if no such payments were made.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold EzraHome harmless from claims, suits, demands, fines, and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the platform, your content, your breach of these terms or of the law, and your dealings with other users.

10. Disputes between users

Disputes between a client and a specialist are resolved directly between them. EzraHome is under no obligation to take part in resolving such disputes. If we choose to assist, for example by providing technical information, this creates no obligation for us and does not mean we accept liability.

11. AI concierge

The platform uses automated suggestions and an AI assistant for matching and navigation. AI responses are informational, may contain inaccuracies, and are not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice, nor a recommendation of any particular provider. Users make their own decisions.

12. Acceptable use

When using the platform you agree not to post inaccurate information, not to impersonate others, not to publish abusive, discriminatory, or unlawful material, not to harvest other users' data, and not to use the platform for fraud, spam, or circumventing its features.

13. Suspension of access

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the platform, remove content, or close an account without prior notice in case of a breach of these terms, security risks, or where required by law.

14. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always published on this page. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of them.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Disputes between a user and EzraHome are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Israel.
